Old news is GOOD news

I really can't explain what happened with this one, but apparently I won a challenge that I wasn't aware of. I just happened to take a gander through the challenge winners list and there I was. WOO HOO!!! The Pink Elephant Challenge #122. This was the card I entered.

Just wanted to share my joy. Thanks for listening.

Merry and Bright

Last and FINAL post for the day...I promise (I think)

I'm combining two challenges for this card. The first challenge is over at CAS-ual Fridays and the other over at The Sweet Stop. I love both of these blogs; they have awesome sketches as well. Are you in the Christmas spirit yet?

Thanks for stopping by.

Christmas Season

I'll make this one short and sweet.... I'm joining in on the fun at Card Patterns. They have really nice sketches over there. Join me! The sketch and my creation this week are below.

Tis the Season

Hola again,
As you can see I'm playing "catch up"....second post for the day, but definitely not the last. Please forgive me if you're bombarded with posts. This time I'm joining the CASE Study challenge. This challenge was inspired by Kryssi Ng. It's really simple, but you can interpret simple in so many ways. Here's the inspiration card and what I created. Tell me what you think.

Thanks for peekin'!

Seasons Greetings

Hello there chicas,

Thanksgiving has come and gone and now we're on the countdown to... Christmas!!! I love the Christmas season, with all the lights, the fireplace, the brisk air (although I really don't like winter). I still like for it to be a little chilly for Christmas...I guess that's my way of making up for not having snow anymore. (since I left Michigan)

I've been pretty slow about doing my Christmas cards this year. I actually started them a couple weeks ago at a retreat...boy was it a struggle. I'm still not in the "Christmas mood" yet, but hopefully once I put up the tree and start decorating I will be.

Enough of that!!! Today I'm joining the CR84FN challenge. The colors make me think of pine trees and cocoa...call me crazy but that's what I see. lol Anywho, why don't you join me over there and check out some of the other creations.

Until later!

Freedom Isn't Free

Hola chicas!

I made this card a while back but thought I would enter it into the bloggers challenge over at Splindiferous Creations - "Freedom isn't Free".

I'm so appreciative to our veterans for who they are, what they represent and what they do to protect us. So this card is dedicated to all the very special veterans who may not get to celebrate on their birthday!!! I salute you!

Happy Monday chicas,

I'm dropping in this morning with a quick post for the challenge over at The Pink Elephant. It's a really simple one with endless possibilities. "Embossing". Since my very first embossing folder, I've been hooked. It adds so much texture to your project. My creation is quite simple, (CAS, as usual) but I love the colors I used together. Hope you like it.

This week's challenge is

I have two cards that initially, I couldn't decide on...but I chose to use the "Happy Birthday to You" card. I really hope I made the right decision.

Thanks for stopping by!

It's me again. This time I'm trying my luck again with the Sketchbook Saturday Challenge. The sketches over there are awesome. Take a gander at what I created. I'm hoping my interpretation of the sketch is close.
