Today starts a new challenge over at My Besties 3D & More. Challenge # 18 - Anything Goes with a Besties. The DT was given the option to make it Christmas themed, so I did. This sweet little image comes as a 3D sheet, but I chose to use it in single format. I colored her skin a bit darker, but she comes pre-colored.The image is called AUG Colored Printable 9. All of Sherri Baldy's images can be found at her My Besties Shop, Etsy or Scrapbook Stamp Society. Please come join us for this challenge. We'd love to have you.

Today I'm popping in to share a card I made to enter in the Simon Wednesday Challenge. The theme is: Thinking of You. The card I created fits this challenge wonderfully. I used a Sherri Baldy image and went from there. It's almost like that's me swinging and enjoying a beautiful summer day. It's an easel card and I had so much fun making it! It's tons of innspiration over there. Come and join the fun and tell me what you think of my creation.

My card is pretty CAS, but I love the colors. Orange is my favorite color and I also like golds and browns. I've used a corrugated card base and added leaves, a 3 dimensional pine cone and a patterned paper I felt was masculine. I hope you like him.
It's a rainy day here in Georgia. What a way to start the week.
It's fall and the season has changed. I love the pretty colors of the foilage, but I don't like the cold weather.
Today kicks off Challenge #17 over at My Besties 3D & More. Every week, we the design team try to inspire you with some of Sherri Baldy's images. I know personally, I am so proud to be a part of a wonderful, talented and creative team. The things they create sometimes leaves me in awe. Don't MEET me there, BEAT me there!!! lol
I'm joining a challenge today over at CASology. It's a pretty simple theme: YOU!!! How easy is that? My card is pretty CAS (clean and simple) to me as my style has changed some and I now like layers, layers and layers. However, I'm still that CAS girl who likes straight lines and no clutter. I feel like this is a compromise to them both. I don't think I've entered a challenge over there in a while, but feel free to join me. I'd love for you to tell me what you think.
Today starts Challenge #16 over at My Besties 3D & More. I'm sure you know anytime I post there is something new on the horizon. The image is called Alternative Beauty. It can be found here. I'm not a Copic coloring expert, but I did manage to add lots of color to this image in "my style". I hope you like it!!!

Sherri Baldy is a very talented artist who knows how to make you want those adorable images. They range from playful, to endearing to happy to...well, you know what I mean. She covers them all. If you need it for a particular reason; it's covered. There are new images added monthly and you're sure to find one or two. You can find them at her Etsy shop or Scrapbook Stamp Society.

Today I'd like to share a card I created for the current challenge over at Besties International. I had a lot of fun making this one. It's a center step card and it came together rather easily. It helps that the image I used was so darned cute though. It's a printable 3D sheet.
The team and I would love for you to join us in this and any other challenge. We hope that our projects spark just a bit of creativity or inspiration for you.
The challenges are ALWAYS Anything Goes with a My Besties image!
Winners are picked by a random generator.

Today starts a new challenge at Besties 3D and More. It's very easy with an Anything Goes theme. So no more excuses. Come on over and join us; we'd love to have you. The design team is focusing on Christmas in July if you'd like to follow that or as I mentioned, ANYTHING GOES. (as long as you're using a Sherri Baldy's Besties image) There are many to choose from and they are all cute.
I created the card first and made a matching box for a set. That image is so fun and I love that the little girl is snuggled up with Santa. It brings back many childhood memories for me. (believing in Santa) LOL Christmas will be here before you know it. It's July already. (unbelievable) So start early with your Christmas creations and do join us for some fun. I hope I've sparked a bit of inspiration and I'll see you over there.
It's a really easy challenge...Anything Goes! I love anything goes because it provides endless possibilities.
My creation for this challenge is a card I actually fell in love with after it was done. (not so much while creating it) I've used my favorite color - orange and apparently teal has also become one of my favorites. The fun thing about teal is that you can pair it with just about ANY other color.
Ok, enough of my rambling. Here is what I've created. The digital image I used is by Sherri Baldy and I love it. It makes me smile instantly. Well, I hope you like it.
Did you know that there is a new challenge going on over at Besties International? Well, there is.
Challenge #13 - Anything Goes
The team and I have created some wonderful projects for your inspiration in hopes that you'll hop on over and participate. I used a 3D sheet to make my card. The image hasn't been named yet, but just click the link and it will take you to the store where you can find it. It's really easy to create when you have such cute images to work with. Sherri Baldy is a very talented woman and shares these images with us and the world. Please take my word for it when I say, once you use one...you're HOOKED!
Today brings about many changes at the Besties homefront. A new challenge starts and also a new name. The team and I are so excited. The blog is now My Besties 3D and More along with all challenges are now Anything Goes!!! Now it doesn't get any easier than that. So do you know what that means??? It means you have no excuse for joining us and having a little fun in the process. Even if you don't join us this time, we'll be there and we'll leave the lights on! lol Tell a friend to tell a friend and head on over. We'd love to have you. We have shared our projects to hopefully spark your creativity!
I have used an image from the Sweet Geeks CD. Isn't she just adorable?
Have you heard about the challenge over at Besties International? The team and I would love for you to join us. I used one of my favorite embellishments...butterflies. The theme overe there is Anything goes....ALWAYS! How easy is that?
Challenge #11 - Anything Goes
I created this card using an image that is not yet in the shop. Check back often though, to see it and many others that Sherri Baldy has created. In case you don't know where to go, I have included links.
Sherri's Etsy shop and Scrapbook Stamp Society.
Isnt' he just asorable?!?!?! I have a hard time with masculine cards, but I think I pulled this one off. The colors made it work. As you know, (or maybe you don't, ORANGE is my favorite color) I love orange brown and khaki together. I just added the pop of green in the grass and butterflies to give it a POP!!!
I guess I'm more active this week than I've been in quite some time. I hope you don't mind that I'm finding plenty to keep me occupied these days. I'm entering the challenge over at The Card Concept.
Over there, they have 7 different styles to use when creating your cards. My card happens to fall into two different ones: Clean and Layered and Shabby Chic and Vintage. I just love it!!!! I am getting a little more practice with adding layers to my cards. Ultimately, I classify my style as CAS but I love chunky, layered, full of busyness too. Guess I'm just learning more and more things so styles change in the preocess. (I'm happy about it) Tell me what you think.
Today I'dlike to share a project I made that fits in perfectly with the colors to the current Simon Wednesday challenge. It's titled, "Sweet Treats". Don't these pastels just make you think of candy? Well, you know me, I'm bold and vibrant with color. I used the same colors, just with a KICK!!!!
I created this kraft envelope for tooth catching!!! I guess that's a lot of darn teeth to catch with a bag so large. Well anyway, just wanted to share. LOL
I was selected as one of the three TYIC #21 Challenge favorites!!! Woo hoo!
Well, I really can't explain how or why I'm so lucky today in finding this many challenges I'm interested in. Who knew that being in the craft room so much would land me HERE!!! lol I'm entering my tag into the Tag You're...It challenge. It's another simple one. Use the tag below as inspiration. Well, you know what I feel about that....loosely translated - anything goes as long as you were inspired by it in some form or fashion.
I guess I'm just on a roll today and I've found new challenges thay I'm interested in joining. This time it's at Craft Your Passion. I stumbled upon thier blog from someone who had them listed in their blog list of challenges. So why not join, right?!?!?!
Take a look at what I created. It's an altered canvas. I made it for a teacher appreciation gift. I purchased the canvas from Michael's with the pink felt frame included. I then added my embellishments... lace ribbon trim, doily, 3D sticker dress form, flowers, butterflies, rhinestones and finally the sentiment.
Today I'm joining a challenge over at CAS-ual Fridays that is just too fun to pass up. It's really simple and using some of my favorite colors. Take a look at what I created. Although it's not a birthday theme, I still wanted to join. (hope I'm not booted out)
CFC139: In honor of our 4th Birthday, create a birthday themed project using these colors: Black, White, Orange & Turquoise.

My project today is my version of shabby chic...which is really difficult for me. The image I used:
This challenge is pretty easy and leaves the field wide open for your interpretation. I have gone out of my box and created a card using a little boy. Can you believe it? I'm not good with masculine nor boy cards, but the image I'm using is adorable and was created by you know who...Sherri Baldy. The team and I would love to see what you come up with, so join us! This and all of Sherri Baldy's images can be found at Scrapbook Stamp Society and her Etsy shop.
I'm popping in with a card I created for the challenge over at My Besties PPP blog that starts TODAY!!!! There's no reason for you not to participate either. Cute images and an easy theme... all you need is some time and your creativity. Easy peasy, right? Well get started and join us! We'd love to have you. Tell a friend to tell a friend and let's make it a Besties party.
Here is what I created for the challenge and hopefully it will spark a bit of "somehting" for you. I had fun making this one. It's playful, colorful and just darn right cute. Oh, and my favorite embellishments are flowers, doilies, and butterflies. I'm very surprised that a "winged friend" didn't make it on this card. Well, definitely on the next one. (smile)
Just in case you don't have any of these images and you don't know where to find them..
The designer is Sherri Baldy and new images are loaded quite often. Below are links to her stores.
I don't know about you, but it's been raining here for the last week with no sign of it slowing up this week either. Oh well, the Lord knows best. His other children need to be nurtured as well...flowers, plants, trees. (all of his wonderous elements)
So I'm coming to you today with what I've been working on. No, it's not for a challenge. Can you believe it? I'm just sharing. :)
Here is an order I did for one customer... Wall Hanging/Frame and matching card.
I also created some Mother's Day cards.
I'll be back sometime this week ith another post, so stay tuned. I hope you like what I created. I enjoy your comments and that you take the time to look.
Today starts a new challenge over at My Besties PPP blog. I'm excited to share my creation with you because I'm using colors I don't often use...pinks/greens. I'm sure you know by now that I LOVE color and the way it makes your projects POP! I'm really liking how this card turned out because initially it was headed for the "I don't like this" bin. LOL I've never been a fan of pink because I always thought it was so soft, but fucshia on the other hand is WONDERFUL! The image is just plain adorable. You can almost see the innocence in here face. Stinkin' cute I tell ya!
Sherri Baldy's images can be found at her Etsy shop or Scrapbook Stamp Society. New images are released often so you should check over there as much as possible. I promise you it WILL NOT be a disappointment.
The team has created some wonderful projects as well. Make sure to stop by their blogs to see if one of us can spark some CREATIVITY!!!
One day closer to the weekend!!! Why do we live for the weekend? I guess because it's time spent with family and friends or doing the things you love most without time constraints or restrictions. Shouldn't it be work two days, off the rest of the week??? How awesome would that be? Well, back to REALITY. (that was short lived, huh) Today I'm sharing a card I made that I'm entering into two Bestie challenges. It's not one of my all time favorite cards, but I do love the colors. You know how you have an idea but it doesn't turn out the way you wanted. Well, I hope you like it anyway.
I know what you're thinking. My posts are so sporadic, right? Well, I'm vowing to do better. I'm in an effort to start back blogging a little more. You all know that I love to enter a challenge...just for the fun of it. I don't care about winning so much (who am I kidding, we all love to win) but it's usually so much competition that I don't get my hopes up. Well, this makes my third post for the day. So on with the reason I'm here. I'm joining The Pink Elephant's current challenge, which is ANYTHING GOES. Easy peasy!!!! Take a look at what I created.
I don't do baby cards often, but I absolutely fell in love with this center step card I created. I made it for a friend and his wife who just had a beautiful baby boy.Tell me what you think.
Just popping in to let you all know that I got this for my card...YAY!!!!
I've decided to join the CASology challenge. It's my first time over there this year...maybe even ever. I don't remember if I've ever joined them before. It's a really fun challenge and quite simple. The challenge is to create something with style. I haven't created a one layer card in quite some time, but that's what I created. Can you believe it??? Me either. Well I guess it's not one layer if I've popped the dress up off the card, huh? Oh well.... I hope you like it.
I'm comiing to you to day with a new challenge that starts at My Besties International Blog. The challenge is to incorporate bunnies and/or eggs into your project. Pretty easy, right. It's amaazing how fast time seems to be going. Easter is this weekend. Well, I am preparing to send out my Easter creations to my niece and little cousins. I sure hope they like them. It's easy pleasing children though. As long as there is candy or something sweet in the basket, they are HAPPY!!! I wish it was that easy in LIFE! Well, I've created a fun little card that I will probably send to my Mom for Easter.
The image I used is listed below and can be found in Sherri Baldy's Etsy shop or at Scrapbook Stamp Society. Or, simply click the link and it will direct you to that image. There are tons of cute images and some that have just been released. Check often as Sherri continues to build the My Besties inventory with the cutest of the cute.
Well, I hope my creation sparks a bit of creativity in you. Please join us for this challenge and make sure to leave me a comment letting me know that you did. I would love to see what you create. Also, check out what my team members created. They are a bunch of very talented women.
